BSNL - New Internet Charging

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), has announced reduction in charges for dial-up Internet access with effect from October 21.  A BSNL press release said here on Thursday that the charge has been reduced to Rs 9.60 per hour during peak hours (7.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. ) and Revised Pulse is 450 sec. and Rs 4.80 per hour during off-peak hours (10.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m.) and
Pulse us 900 sec.

Due to technical constraints revised tariff for Off-peak hours i.e. 900 seconds is not possible to be achieved in E10B switches. In view of this the existing 600 second pulse shall continue during off-peak period (2230-0730), only in E10-B Exchanges.
